Good Friday

Good Friday is the Friday that precedes Easter Sunday and is the day that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. We can celebrate Good Friday because our Lord’s death was a sacrifice so that all could receive the free gift of eternal life. Jesus bore our sins, burden, and shame on the cross. The results changed the course for humanity and what man intended for evil through killing Jesus, God meant for good! What an awesome, glorious Savior we serve!

1 Peter 2:24 says:

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.”

As we celebrate Good Friday, let us rejoice and praise His holy name that He took our punishment and our place on the cross. He was crucified, laid behind a stone. He lived to die, rejected and alone. Like a rose trampled on the ground, He took the fall, and He thought of you above all. Think about that? He thought of you and He thought of me. What amazing love our God has for us! If you have never made the decision to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, today is the day of your salvation! Today you can receive the free gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ. God loves you. He loves you so much that He sent His one and only Son to die a horrible, brutal death on a cross, so that you might come to saving faith in Him. It does not end with His death though. He rose again! He is alive! Easter Sunday is coming. His death was not the end! Praise His holy name. Have a blessed day my friends. I love you all and Jesus loves you.
