The power of prayer

There is power in prayer. James 5:17-18 says:

“Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again, he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.”

Prayer is powerful! Amen? It has nothing to do with our spiritual strength, but with God’s unlimited power. He is the power behind our prayers and when we come to Him in full assurance of faith believing that He will hear and answer our prayers, great things can happen! Sometimes, our prayers are not always answered how we want, but that does not mean that God does not care or love us. It does not mean that He did not hear our prayers. He always hears us, but He will answer according to His will in His way and in His perfect timing. He knows what is best and we must trust Him when we come to Him in prayer. God is still in the business of healing and doing miraculous things. God is awesome and He loves listening and answering the prayers that His children bring before His divine ears. Keep praying! Pray without ceasing! Never give up on your prayers but know that God hears them and will always respond accordingly in His divine love and wisdom. There is power in prayer! Never forget that. Have a blessed day and God bless you!
